In 2020, CSI hosted hour-long, virtual fireside chats with leaders in systems change, social innovation, and climate action. Each conversation tackled a big idea.
It didn’t make sense to leave these one-off events as is: these are very smart people with smart ideas, and we wanted to get the word out about them. Also, they allowed CSI establish itself as a platform — a space, if you will — for these world-changing ideas. We wanted people to see us as the go-to for all things “next economy.”

Simply putting a piece of writing on the internet is not enough to get people to read it. Every time we published a blog recap, we also shared it in our newsletters and our social media channels.
At first, I tried to brand these video clips, but found they were not performing well; so later on, I simply put a thumbnail at the beginning of each clip instead. You can see the evolution of these clips below.
